Cookies
This site sets one strictly necessary cookie, pb_session, and only if you register to download from the SAP Integration Playbook. It keeps you signed in on that device for up to 180 days, so you do not need a code each time, and it is removed when you sign out. Because it is strictly necessary for a service you asked for, there is no cookie banner. Nothing else on this site sets cookies.
The SAP Integration Playbook also remembers in your browser's local storage whether you chose the light or dark theme, and whether you have already seen or answered the feedback invitation (with a running count of the minutes you have spent reading, used only to time that invitation). These stay on your device and are never sent to us.
Visitor statistics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are popular, in aggregate only. It does not use cookies and does not follow you across other websites. A visit is recognised only by a temporary code made from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours, so we cannot identify you.
Contact form
If you send the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message by email. We use them only to reply to you and keep them only as long as we need to deal with your enquiry.
SAP Integration Playbook: registration and feedback
What we collect. To download the playbook's templates and diagrams you register with your name, email address, role and, if you wish, your company, and you choose whether we may email you when the playbook updates. If you send feedback, we store what you wrote, the page you were on, whether you found it helpful and, only if you give it, your email address.
Why. We use your registration details to give you access to the downloads (we email you a 6-digit code to confirm your address), to understand who uses the playbook, and, only if you ticked the box, to tell you when it updates. We use feedback to improve the playbook and to reply if you gave an email address.
Licence marking. Templates and diagrams you download carry your name, email address and the download date in the footer and in the file properties, to discourage redistribution. Free registration includes one download: we record which file you downloaded to apply that limit, and we treat variants of one mailbox (for example an address with a "+" tag) as the same registration. If you click "Tell me when it opens" on the pricing page, we record that interest so we can email you when the paid plan opens.
Lawful basis. Providing the account you ask for is performance of a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Update emails and quoting your feedback as a testimonial rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time. We only quote feedback if you ticked the testimonial box.
Where. The data is stored in a Supabase database hosted in London (AWS eu-west-2), and access is limited to the playbook's server functions. Codes and notifications are sent from our Google Workspace mailbox. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long. Your account is kept until you ask us to delete it, or deleted automatically after 24 months without signing in. Feedback is kept for 24 months. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes and are deleted within 24 hours.
Your rights. As set out below, including access, correction, deletion and withdrawing consent, by emailing the address above.
Fonts
The main pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which can see your IP address. The SAP Integration Playbook uses fonts hosted on this site.
Your rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing the address above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
